Will we hold on or fall down, are we prepared? To stay alive, our problem - we're not aware of who we are, regardless Why should we care? This paradise was contrived and we set our eyes to something that wasn't there Our whole lives wasted We never traced it Back to ourselves, back to the choices made Our whole lives wasted We never faced it Not by ourselves, not with the same mistakes And every morning, I wake up with the sudden threat Of death and failure, my mind it caters To thoughts that never end Well, I'm looking for a brighter side of things The clouds with silver lining but I'm afraid I'll never find them Among the thunderstorms that hide them All is vanity We've never been given so much control We're taking this for granted This is the reason why we panic Our whole lives wasted We never traced it Back to ourselves, back to the choices made Our whole lives wasted We never faced it Not by ourselves, not with the same mistakes Isn't it interesting, how a culture of rugged individualism Rarely accepts responsibility for their own decisions? Instead they chose to levy the blame on an outside force Whether it's God, government, destiny or chance You have no one to blame but yourself

It's a culture-bound phenomenon To prove one's worth above the others A dog-eat-dog world, run for cover Where do you stand? Where do you fit in the grand scheme of things? How do you find, your own piece of mind? Our actions show how much we overcompensate But we need to belong cause we fear being alone This worlds been changing faster than we've ever wanted Does it really feel like home? Well, we fear being alone The sudden decline of moral fabric The wars that were won through Cold War tactics Progressive thought, confess to God that it's the changing of our times Where do you stand? Where do you fit in the grand scheme of it? How do you find, your own piece of mind? Well I know the future is frightening But it's all we'll ever see To fight for the counter-productive It doesn't make much sense to me Yeah I know the future is frightening that's all it will ever be To fight for something that's destructive It doesn't make much sense to me Where do stand? Where do you fit when there's no benefit And you're left with nothing The choice is up to you and after that you're through

about

Every single thing on this record was either done or conceptualized by us whether it be the writing, recording, mixing, or cover art concept of this album. We've learned along the way that if you want something done, you have to do it yourself and this is the result of our efforts. It was an intense process with a lot of trial and error involved but it definitely made us appreciate the process that much more. It has taken us four months to write, rehearse, and record this album and we're very excited to share it with you all. Read through the liner notes, the lyrics, and thanks for the support!
